Israel's Desperate Attempt to Brainwash the Youth

Before the internet, The idea that powerful people were using films and the news as tools to groom the public into supporting an agenda that benefits governments or the elite class would have been considered just a delusional conspiracy theory, But today that idea could might as well be considered the truth especially with Social media and the internet where anyone with money can just hijack social media spaces to push an agenda with a massive impact like Israel.

A Generational Shift

A survey shared by NBC News in April showed that 75% of Gen Z favors Palestine over Israel 

 The declining support of Israel can be attributed to widespread social media coverage of the conflict between the two territories.

 While non-stop graphic videos are exposing the violence that Israel is committing against innocent Palestinians.

Israel is turning to American tiktokers to post content from the comfort of their rooms

Netanyahu's Strategy

In a meeting Benjamin Netanyahu while addressing the criticism from the right or as he calls the “Extreme Reich” which he jokes is not much different from the extreme left 

Netanyahu says “We have to fight back. How do we fight back? Our influencers.” seemingly alluding to the cohort of influencers that Israel has on payroll  

The FARA Submission

According to the Foreign Agent Registration Act (FARA) document submitted by Bridge Partners , The Government of Israel is listed as a foreign principal represented by Havas Media a German company helping Israel build its propaganda network

• The Document shows the movement of cash going out to Influencers and “Production costs” it is estimated that over $500k was allocated to the special cohort of 14–18 influencers assumed from what the document lists
• It is believed at the low end that the Influencers were being paid $6k for each post they made and $7.8k at the high-end 
• Bridge Partners LLC is listed as the company that funnels the cash to the influencers as the company is headquartered in the Capitol Hill neighborhood of Washington DC
• All parties involved are hesitant to reveal who the influencers are

Department of Justice keeping eyes wide shut

 The Responsible Statecraft and Public Citizen wrote a letter to the DOJ arguing that FARA required the Influencers to report as foreign agents however the DOJ has shown no attention to the matter

While it’s unclear on why the DOJ is seemingly protecting the influencers, the deliberate corruption of the internet especially targeting young minds by a foreign government should be raising the alarms of our leaders and government.

What's at Stake

Israel is undermining the sovereignty of America, Israel is setting a dynamic where they don’t only fund and decide our elections and legislations with AIPAC but they also control what narratives can catch steam on the internet 

Israel is no longer a country that needs our protection from “terrorists” but instead is a country that we need to protect our Democracy and social infrastructure from.
